Aloo gobi is a dry Pakistani, Indian and Nepali cuisine dish made with potatoes, cauliflower and Indian spices.  A simple delicious dish that can be cooked in minutes.


Approx 200g cauliflower florets (small)
100g diced potato
Tablespoon tomato puree
½ diced onion
2 cloves and small cinnamon bark
Chilli and salt to taste
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin, 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Coriander for garnish


Fry onions and paste with whole spices until onions are translucent
Add potatoes and other spices and cook for 2mins having added 50mls water and the tomato puree
Add cauliflower and salt then Stir and cover
Cook on medium heat for 5 min
Check to see that potatoes are par cooked
Cover and allow to cook on low heat for 5 min
Uncover and increase the heat to medium
Cook until the cauliflower is as you like it
Garnish with coriander
