Rajma or red kidney bean curry is the famous Punjabi main course dish that is loved across length and breadth of India.


3 tins of kidney beans precooked
200g onions chopped
2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
200g chopped tomato, 200ml water
2 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons paprika, chilli to taste
2 teaspoons garam masala
Juice of lemon, Salt to taste


Fry onions with the paste until translucent
Add all the spices and cook for 2 min
Added the kidney beans and mix
Add tomato and mix
Add water and cook for 5-6 min
Add juice of lemon and salt to taste
